Hystersisters site upsetting me a little

I posted twice and cannot find them for the life of me. I seem to get more and more upset when I use this site. Hate to think my co-workers are right. Need simple directions on where to go to retrieve replies to my questions - hopefully with some encouraging advise or two.
Surgical procedure was July 1, 2008 - topic posted was on rapid weightloss.

Lagoon,
Go to the top and click on Quick Links. Go to the bottom and click on subscribed threads and your post should be there...

Hello, Lagoon. I remember that when I first started using it, I found the site very "busy" visually and somewhat hard to figure out. There is a whole section just for questions like yours, in fact.

When I want to find my old posts, I just click on my own name. A drop down menu appears, and I can click on "find all posts by blueheron2003" or something like that. Then I can go to threads I started and threads where I participated as a respondent.

If you go to the forums tab up on the upper right side, too, you can find the many different groups into which our messages are placed. The thread in which you particpated will be placed among the thread group most appropriate to its content.

I hope you will become less upset as you get used to using the site. It takes awhile. I am a two year user of the site, and even I still get confused. But the site is an emotional lifesaver, I hope you'll find!

Dear Lagoon,

A quick way to find all your posts is to click on your username and then click 'find all posts by lagoon". I checked, and you have only one other post besides this one, and that is in our "Introduce Yourself" forum. You can find it here:

Great. Thanks. Now, I was "still" unable to read the responses if any, to my problem. I need that.

(((Lagoon))), only Princess Ruby and staff can reply on your thread in the Introduce Yourself forum. I'll going to copy it over here as a new thread to the Post-Op forum so your Sisters can reply to share with you.

Thank you anyway ladies.
No responses to my loss of appitite - that's too bad.
I give up. Stopping all medications until I can eat.
Medicatons without food may just be the reason my body is out of sorts. Never known such pains exist.
Please, excuse me while I go back to bed and cry for the rest of the week.
God bless.

Sometimes it just takes a while before someone comes along who has the exact experiences to share but know that we're here and that we care.
