Don't want to go back to work!

Going back to work tomorrow after 6 - weeks off. I do not want to go back! I'm 46 and this is the longest time I've ever had off...even when I had my two kids! Anyone else dread going back?

ME!!!! I don't want to go! After 32 years of working there I am ready to be done!
I've been off 3 months and it's time to face the music. UGHHHHHHH

I went back to work 3 weeks do the day after surgery. For me, it made me feel better mentally to get back to "normal". Made me feel good to shower, do my hair and put some make up on. Good luck.

Went back to one of my jobs at 2 weeks, do NOT want to go back to my other one. I am scheduled to return at 4 weeks and plan to give a 30 day notice upon returning.

I've been showering, doing my hair and dressing since the beginning...also getting a lot done around the house and a lot of great walks with my dog.

I 150% do NOT want to go back! at 5 weeks I am still in quite a bit of pain around my belly button and sides if I am up for more than 1-2 hours, I have no energy I really think that dreading it so much is what is giving me anxiety and insomnia.
I really love my job but when it is truly physically exhausting and hard on my body when I am healthy. I work in retail mgmt and when I go back I will be thrown right into holiday craziness. I will be lucky to get a 10 minute "lunch" break during 12 hour shifts and literally running, lifting, climbing ladders, filling stock and making sure clients are all happy. I have very demanding store manager and don't think she will be able to make any accomodations for me. I seriously am praying that I can express my concerns to my dr. next week for my 6 week appt.

I'm also in retail management...so, I understand what you mean!

what type of surgery did you have? you are one week ahead of me and I cant even imagine being on my feet for a full days work
I had abdominal with a tummy tuck and bladder sling, so I am praying that the dr will give me more time based on the extra procedures I had.

I had a LAVH, removal of both ovaries, A & P repair and a bladder sling.

i don't work but can't imagine going back that soon after all you had done, i hope it works out for you
