Whimsy's out of surgery! :)

Hi sisters,

My name is Laurie and I'm friends with Whimsy (aka Jodi). I received an email from her hubby letting me know that she came through surgery with flying colours! Everything ended up being done vaginally, which she is very pleased with

I've already spoken with her personally and she sounds great! Her throat is a bit irritated from being intubated. But she sounds WONDERFUL!

Realizing that many sisters she has met here maynot go to the Post Op messages, I'll post this here and in Post Op so everyone can have a chance to see how she's doing She maybe able to come home on Friday.

Well just wanted to let you all know how she's doing

Hugs and blessings,

Laurie

Whimsy's out of surgery! :)

Hi

Thank you for updating us on Jodi's condition. Please let her know we are thinking of her and are looking forward to hearing directly from her when she is up to a couple of minutes at the computer.

Remind her to drink lots of water and take some short walks

I'm home, I'm home!

Hi Dears! Laurie, thanks so much, my sweet friend, for posting the update! And thanks to Mary Lou for the nice wishes.

Everything went SO well for me at the castle yesterday morning that I'm home NOW (Thursday)! Surgery went absolutely as best as I could ever have hoped for, and they treated me like gold in the hospital and made for a wonderful recovery. They were indeed able to do it all without any belly incision whatsoever (I was fully expecting they would end up having to cut my belly, so what a wonderful surprise!), and I've had very little pain (very good pain control, thanks to my fantastic doctor and an amazing hospital staff) and seem to be getting back on my feet very quickly.

I'll start another thread with more info, but thanks again, Dears, and yup, I promise I'm being very, very good and taking good care of myself (with help from my wonderful hubby and kids, of course!)

Love and best wishes,
Jodi
