Hysterectomy: December 17th, 2012

Surgery Type: TAH

Ovaries: Removed both

Vaginal Cuff dehisence

I went in today for my 6 week post-op pelvic exam and was informed that the vaginal cuff is not healing well. I have been feeling great and only have minimal spotting. I have to see the Doctor every week for exam to monitor. She said it could be months before it heals and worse case scenario I would have to have surgery to repair it. Needless to say I am still on strict pelvic rest. Has anyone else had this happen? I am super worried.
