I am confused by abbreviations here

I have looked around and for the life of me can't find where on the site you explain the abbreviations of the different types of surgery. I am reading the post op stories, and gaining a lot of knowledge, but if I know what all the abbreviations meant it would help.

It is probably staring me in the face, and I am just missing it...but a nudge in the right direction would surely be appreciated.

Well, they aren't quite under your nose. You can find the abbreviations by clicking Quick Links at the top right hand side of the page and scroll down to Abbreviations on the drop down menu, or you can find them here.

You're going to love this site!!!! To find out the abbreviations, look at the top left corner of the screen, under the part that says, "news" you'll see right below a part that says, "help & info", click on that. Then scroll down until you see under Hyster sister website usage--what do the abbreviations mean? and that will take you to an explaination!!! Hope this helps!! Hyster-sisters is THE BEST!!!!! HUGE help. Thank you. Is it marked somewhere that you will find them there? If not, I think that would be a very good thing to have as a sticky at the top of the Pre-op or somewhere that we new gals congregate!
