Insurance ok'd it ALL!

HI ladies,
well today my dr office called and my insurance ok'd everything! The subpartial abdominal hyst, the mini-tummy tuck (the dr called it scar revision!) the bladder repair, the rectocele repair as well as a 3 day stay at the castle! Wahoooo!!!!! Jumping for joy here (peeing my pants too!) LOL(need that TVT!)

I am so happy to know for sure when the surgery is and that it will be covered! YAY! Hugs to all! Maureen

Insurance ok'd it ALL!

Thanks Ladies! It is so funny. I did not even think about a tummy tuck until I read a post here about a panniculectomy. I asked my dr and he agreed to change from the LSH to the SAH to do the tummy tuck. He said for insurance, he will call it the "scar revision", yay!!!! I will let you all know how it looks when we are done! Hugs Raymo

I have surgery on April 4th and I am self pay (I have no insurance). Do any of you want to share what the total costs were for your TAH? An estimate? if all goes well and no complications, 2-3 days in the hospital?

(((((Raymo, ))))) I am so happy for you!!! I will not know about my insurance until a few days before surgery. I could scream because they lost a signed form I sent in w/check. Well the check was cashed so where is the form?? It has to go back to underwriting now and that will take up to 10 bus. days from last Thursday. Like I said I could scream!! I have to go on as if it will still happen. I have my pre-op with second surgeon thursday. All I can do now is pray that it will get through the red tape quicker than they said.

Anyways I am very happy for you and your mini tummy tuck. Is yours up and down or a bikini scar? I asked mine if he could take a little extra and he said no. But did say he would give me a nicer looking scar than I have from c-section. I guess that is better than nothing.
