Tired of feeling and looking pregnant

Hi Ladies, I just wanted to say that I am so tired of feeling and looking pregnant because of this huge degenerating fibroid, and 22 wk enlarged uterus. I can't even sleep on my tummy anymore because I can feel the big fibroid. I know there are many of you who feel just like I do. I will be having a TAH on 11-01 and all though I'm scared to death about surgery I cant wait to have it done, I'm just so uncomfortable. Thank God I only have pain when I get my period. It's almost over for me.
Well THANK YOU for listening.

Hi Princess G!

It's a nice feeling when you know that you're doing the right thing for yourself. It gives you a real sense of peace going into surgery. I hope your wait time goes by quickly. You'll be in my prayers.

I can totally relate - from another girl with a big ole' (used to be) uterus and fibroid!

I love sleeping on my tummy and I can almost do it again. I literally could feel a pulse in my fibroid, it was the weirdest feeling ever.

Your date is the date I go back to work! Just think how much better it's going to be!

You are going to feel so much better!! From someone "on the other side" who was in the same situation as you before hand (26 weeks), life without the "alien" is sooooo good!

Look forward to the surgery - waiting IS the worst part as you hear over and over again here.

And Kellnette - I felt that pulse too!! I used to get this weird shuddering kind of feeling too which is why it got nicknamed the "alien".

Hope everything goes well for you Princess G

Hi Princess G you have the same as what I had and believe me you will feel sooo much better. I remember when I got up to my room after surgery and feeling my stomach and you'll notice/feel a difference right away. I couldn't get over how flat it felt.

We'll all be thinking about you on your trip to the castle

Thanks ladies, I feel the pulse and it sure feels weird in there. You know as soon as I wake up I have to get up otherwise it feels bad, you turn over and it moves thataway, it's awful. Hey how about towards the evening do you get super bloated? I sure do and then the pregnancy feeling (look) kicks in even harder. I tell you waiting for the date is hard.
Blessings

I also felt HUGE by the end of the day. UGH>...

The best part about the surgery was the evening afterwards, the nurse I had in pre surgery was my nurse afterwards. She checked my incision and bandage and then stated "Your tummy already looks smaller!".

I wish the swelly belly would go away but it will, patience, patience.
