Had pre-op visit today : )

Well ladies, I finally had my pre-op visit today and things went pretty good considering the pain I have been dealing with, and working 10p-6a and only getting a couple hours of sleep before my appointment and taking my 15month son with me . So I am very tired and fatigue is an understatement .

I didn't have many questions because most of my questions that I had were answered here. But I did ask her exactly why I could not have a TVH instead of a TAH. She said since I had a previous C-Section and the scar tissue it leaves behind is the reason. I had already thought that to be the reason. I really only asked because I had a cousin that had 3 children by C-Section and she was able to have a TVH. I guess all doctors are different.

I am okay with this even though I know it will take longer to heal. Atleast she will be getting a great view of everything, and if she sees something that she needs to take care of, then I guess the TAH is the best route.

She had previously told me that I was her 5th case of the day, but I am happy to say that when I asked her today if I was still 5th, she said no, that I was now her 3rd. I mean, I didn't mind being 5th. Just want this to be done already : )

I already have an appointment with her for the following monday to get my staples taken out, so I am glad that is taken care of.

After I left her office I had to go to the hospital to pre-register. They were busy. It took forever, but thats okay. I had to speak with the surgery coordinator to make sure everything was in order. Then I had to go to the lab and get my blood drawn. I was the only one in there, but the woman drawing my blood was taking her sweet time. I guess I was just impatient because I don't feel up to par.

Plus I wanted to get home and be able to sleep before I go back to work tonight. After tonight I have one more night to work and then I am off Saturday and Sunday night. And surgery on Monday.

I have gotten alot of things done, but I still feel like a have a million more things to do. But I am sure I will be just fine when Sunday evening gets here.

I have to be at the hospital at 7:30am. I am so ready. And believe it or not I am still not nervous. As I have said before, I am ready to get this done and feel better.

I will be so excited when I can get on here and post that I am on my way to the castle!!

Thank you all for your support and I will see you on the other side!!
