Does necrosis make a person smell?

I recently noticed that my CT scan report said my fibroids show possible cystic or necrotic degeneration. If it's necrosis, is it possible that could make me smell bad? For a long time, I've *thought* I smell worse than I used to. My bf says no, but I don't know if he would notice as much as I would.

I am not sure the answer to your specific question, but if you are noticing a difference in odor, I think it would be wise to check with your doctor to make sure all is well.

Thanks Weiser. I will bring it up with the next GYN I see. Although, I worry that if I bring it up with the last one I saw, he'll just use it to try and strongarm me into the hysterectomy. I won't let it keep me from bringing it up though.
