Will I still have PMS symptoms after TAH?

OK, I think this might sound like a dumb question but I am having a TAH in 2 weeks and the plan is to keep the Ovaries as long as they are healthy.

My questions are,, since I will no longer have a period, will I still go through the hormonal PMS symtoms of being extremely crabby and moody??

Also, what happens to the eggs that get released from the Ovaries if you have a Hyster??? Where do they go, just floating around and dissolve? This is really a weird question, but I was just wondering about all this.

I usually have very bad PMS with the mood swings and I get so easily aggitated a few days before my period and wonder if I will still go through this.

No its not a weird question at all, I did wonder the same as I am due to have a TAH also leaving the ovaries (condition depending) and I wondered what happened to the egg, and would I also get the PMS and the ovulation pains that I get around ovulation times.

I can only speak for myself, but after my radical hyst, they left the ovaries and I still experience SOME PMS. I did not have terrible PMS, but my biggest problem was the week of my period I would get a five day migraine, after the hyst, I still get those five day migraines and can only assume it is around when my period would have been. I have not had my hyst yet, but did ask my doctor about this, because I am also keeping my ovaries. I have major mood swings and get the five day migraines as well during that time of the month. He said I would still experience those PMS symptoms since those particular symptoms are "hormone induced" and the ovaries are what produce the hormones. I'm just looking forward to being rid of the rest of it.... as well as the adeno, etc! I didn't ask him about the eggs though. That's definitely a good question and another to add to my list.
