backaches anyone?
Yes, I had backaches which I was told is common with this surgery. Remember, you just had a major surgery and it takes time to get all your strength back and your body to adjust and feel normal. I think that's why your legs wobble and feel weak after standing for awhile.....It just takes time. Your still early in the recovery process
take care,
lala

backaches anyone?
Yes, I had backaches and pain at my tailbone. I went back to work part-time on 2/23. It has gotten much better. Just takes time to heal.
Hope you feel better soon.

backaches anyone?
I think that as long as the belly has any swelling and the abdominal muscles have to work harder, we are more susceptible to back pain. I still don't like to be on my feet more than a couple of hours at a time. As far as the wobbly legs, you are really very early on in your healing and are just not that strong yet. It takes time.

Backache
I just had my hysterectomy on 2/3/09, and I have backaches that feel like it did when I had my menstrual cycle. My tailbone, and buttocks ache as well. Based on each of you ladies comments maybe this is due to the surgery, but it is bothersome.

Upper Stomach Pain and internal pulling sensation
I had a total hysterectomy approx. 4 months ago primarily because they found that I had a large cyst the size of a cantaloupe on one of my ovaries. Prior to the surgery, I had severe back pain on the right side of my back that confused me. I thought perhaps I had a bad chair @ work but to find out after my surgery that the cyst being so large, had actually smashed the tube from my kydney to my bladder flat and that was the reason for the back pain. I feel I've healed well, however, whenever I lay on my side @ night, there's a pulling then a sudden aching more in my upper stomach portion and I've had this problem after surgery and now 4 months after I'm still having problems with this as well as what seems pain in the kydney area still. I'm wondering if the right kydney might be still having problems - and if it's responsible for the upper stomach problem - that never has seemed to get better?
