discharge normal after TAH/BSO

ok, almost 9 weeks post op for TAH/BSO. Just started having a moderate amount of whitish vaginal discharge. No smell, no other colors and no itching or irritation. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? not concerned because no symptoms of infection, just don't know if this is normal or not.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this.

As it's a new problem for you, the best thing you can do is contact your doctor. Although you've no symptoms at the moment, it could still possibly be the start of a yeast infection. A call will help re-assure ~ if only for peace of mind.

Sending all good wishes!

I agree, since you're concerned about it, a call to your dr might be a good idea.

since its something new since your surgery, you should probably let your dr know about it. i have never had any odor with a yeast infection...so it could be one. you wouldnt want to let that go too long since without treatment, it would only get worse.

My Dr's nurse told me that this is normal. I also have the same thing going on at 5 weeks. As long as there is no smell and discomfort it is normal it's just gross. I really hope mine stops before I'm released for sex. I would not be comfortable with that making an appearance.
