hi im 5mths post TAH and im happy to say that i no longer have any swelly belly at all,its totally gone and my tum is nearly totally flat again just got the ridge to get rid of and although others say they never lost theirs ,im going to give it a good dam try,good luck

How on earth did you manage to lose weight???? I have gained 10 pounds since my surgery 10 weeks ago! Not eating differently but not getting much exercise at all either! Tired all the time still. But the bio-identical hormones are finally starting to kick in so I am hoping that will help! And yes, I still have SB! I have a huge roll that hangs over my incision that I would like to take a pair of scissors and cut off!

I honestly didn't notice any swelly belly. I had an LAVH on Feb. 3rd.

I did for the first 6 weeks...now it has gone down considerably...what I do find is I still cannot button up my pants or I feel sick. It really is strange how our bodies react!
