last day of work until after hysterectomy

I made it,no more work until mid November! I am relieved that I don't have to struggle through eight hours on my feet anymore! I am anxious about being out for six weeks but I know everything is going to fine! So ready for Friday!!!

Good luck with your surgery. I am having my total vag hysterectomy on Monday Oct 6th so it's coming up too.

My day is Friday too! I am working right up until the end, (except all my preop is tomorrow) and I am looking forward to getting it over with! A little nervous, but kind of excited too. I am hoping to be back at work by the beginning of November, and am looking forward to a wonderful thanksgiving in Palm Springs with my entire family coming from all over the country to be there.

Thank you ladies, I was already scheduled off on Tuesday and Wednesday for my regular days off. I just told them I wanted to be off the day before to rest. I had pre op on Friday and it went great! Best of luck to you, see you on the other side

Thank you Suzie, this site is such a big help for me! It is wonderful to be able to talk with women who understand and are going through the same thing! It has definitely helped ease some of my anxiety! Hope you are doing well with your recovery

Michelle my pre op nurse had a hysterectomy for adenomyosis which is why I'm having mine! I was like what are the odds of that lol. I had never heard of it until I was diagnosed with it. She was great hoping your pre op is a pleasant experience like mine was! Good luck today, let me know how it goes hyster-twin
