8 weeks post hysterectomy - working out too soon!

So had my 8 week post-op appt. and had an internal exam...
Dr says "have you started running already?"
I said yes. She says yes, I can tell...STOP!!
too soon!!
who knew...i felt fine, felt great running...but you forget there is still much to heal inside. Lo Impact only until next week. I had noticed some discharge and she said thats why....too soon!
So I swim and walk and ride my mtn bike.
I have noticed i still get belly swelling...either that or since I cant run...im gaining weight....yikes...thats all I need.
Oh well, running again next week.
Just a reminder, we feel great and no outward signs of healing...but we are!!
