Anyone taking Megace to control bleeding?
Is or has anyone taken MEGACE to control bleeding before surgery. I have had three shots of Lupron, took Provera, and now taking Megace. I'm feeling a little nervous about all the meds. I know my dr. is really trying to stop the bleeding before surgery on Aug. 20.
Thanks for the info.

Anyone taking Megace to control bleeding?
ES,
I've been on Megace since May when the mini pill didn't do it. I've had some break through bleeding after certain tests, sex, etc but it really has helped! I think it makes me a bit more tired than I usually am and has all but killed the libido, but it has stopped the bleeding for which I'm very grateful. He found during an ultrasound that it hasn't thinned the uterine lining like it should, but at least it's staying put!

Anyone taking Megace to control bleeding?
Dear Karena,
Thanks for the information of Megace. I hope it works for me too. Two more weeks, I'll be finished with all this. I hate having it on my mind all of the time. I am leaving for vacation tomorrow and it sure would be nice not to take all the pads and tampons with me. (although I'm so used to it, I'm sure I will).
Thanks again for the encouragement!
Elise
