Light Spotting (Red) 1st Time Sex Post-Hysterectomy

My boyfriend and I had sex for the very first time after my hysterectomy the other day and we noticed a little blood at tip of condom. I freaked out! Surgery was done in August 2012 so I felt I was fully healed. Plus, we haven't had sex in almost a year. Now, I'm having light spotting, my vagina feels sensationally weird (like yeast infection) and notice slight oder. I'm still freaking out and having anxiety about having sex again. Could this be a hormonal inbalance? Please help!

Could be...call the doctor to ease your mind. My guess it is fine but if you have the yeast you may want to get that taken care of right away. Monistat does not work for me, I need a perscription for something else. Hang in there
