Home from the castle

Hello everyone! I went to castle on July 12, & got home yesterday July 15. My surgery went well, they were running late, as I was supposed to go in at 10am & didn't get in till 11:30 am.It took about an hour with minimal blood loss, I had a fibroid about the size of a large grapefruit, along with a suprise case of endo on the back of my uterus & vagina, along with some scarring, but suprisingly little adhesions (this is my 4th abdominal surgery). I ws very alert in recovering with suprisingly little pain, & went to my room at 1:45. Had the pca pump, but really didn't use it that much. Sisters- it really isn't as bad as you fear, the waiting & the fear of the unknown are really the worst part of this (so far!). I will post my whole story when I am a little more alert! Oh yeah the gas pains really are the worst of it all, & gas X really will be your best friend! & you will be tired, even taking a shower will wear you out, & the better shape you are in the better you will do. Thanks to hystersisters of all of their love & support.

Bonny, it's good to see you back! I got home Thursday--things went mostly all right for me too. Be sure to enjoy your pampering--be a good princess and take it easy. Keep in touch over in post-op!
