Week 3 - post-op

It's been 3 weeks since surgery and I am still experiencing gas pains, rumbling, etc. and abdominal discomfort/pain. My bowel movements are normal, but sometimes painful. Is this normal?

Hi Annie, I am 3 weeks post op also and experiencing the same thing. I can't be sure its normal but my doctor knows about it and didn't seem concerned. Hope your recovery is going well!!

Hi there I had the gas pains on my first week too , have you changed your diet since surgery and I know you may fill good somedays and do things but don't take it easy

Hi Droopy!

Sad to say my appetite did not change! I'm watching lots of cooking shows while home on the couch and trying many of the recipes, but nothing out of the norm. I have over done it a few times, but my body quickly reminded me of my restrictions! Happy healing!!
