Post hysterectomy fever

Hi! I had a total hysterectomy on Frb 16th. Yesterday I was in the ER with a fever of 102. They did lab work, CT, pelvic exam, chest x-ray and urine culture. The only thing they found was a small trace of bacteria in my urine, but the Dr said there is no way it would cause a 102 temp. I had to go see my gyn for an emergency post op problem, she called my cardiologist ( I have a small hole in my heart) and tomorrow I am getting an echo done to rule out infection of heart Bc they cannot find any reason for the fever. Has anyone experienced a fever after hysterectomy that was unexplained? I am on a 10 day course of antibiotics and taking meds to control temp. Thanks!

It is good that you got,checked out. I had a fever of 100 for three days and then caught a cold. Though it could have been the flu.... Are you feeling sick at all?

No, not really. I have really bad tailbone pain that keeps me up at night but I think that's from constantly laying on my back Bc laying on my side still hurts my abdomen. CT showed I had a lot of air in my intestines and when the pain comes it's so bad I could scream. I can't wait to fully recover. I went into this thinking it wouldn't be so bad, but it's been a horribly painful recovery for me.
