any feedback on Cenestin?tried bio-hrt

Hi all, I am in the hormone jungle and need to figure a way out. I am 2 months post op. It seems estradiol is giving me side effects or maybe I'm not tolerating it. Have tried Vivelle dot (.035 and .075 mg estradiol) gave me migraines, nausea, heartburn. Tried Evamist ( transdermal estradiol 1.1 mg) also gave me daily migraines, nausea, heartburn. Now I am on estrace vaginal creme ( delivers .1mg estradiol) and splitting the dose am/pm and still getting migraines, nausea and heartburn. As much as I'm all for bio-hrt, I need relief!
I want to call the Dr. tomorrow and maybe change drastically to Cenestin which is a plant based equivalent to Premarin. Cenestin is not bio-hrt, it is conjugated equine estrogens like in premarin. Or I can change to a compounded bi-est or tri-est. but that still has estradiol so maybe I will still react. Any thoughts? Thank you.

Re: any feedback on Cenestin?tried bio-hrt

My first thought is, for being not even two months post op you have been on an awful lot of different HRTs and dosages. No wonder you don't feel well! You need to allow several weeks on each one to know whether it's going to work for you. Impatience and switching from one to another is only going to prolong the agony.

Doesn't your DR want you on progesterone or some type of progestin given your endo history?

-Linda

I do know what you mean. I am only 2 months post op, however, prior to the surgery I was on Lupron ( injections for medical menopause) for 6 months and also used bio-hrt. I am trying to be patient but I am in so much agony with these migraines. Every time I switch I give it 3-4 weeks. Should I give it longer you think? or am I beating a dead horse. Maybe I am sensitive to estradiol. Or maybe I will do better on a compounded estradiol which has the other forms such as estriol and estrone. ?
