Called my doctor hysterical

I fessed up and told him about my little indiscretion, I thought he would be upset with me but he was cool calm and collected and asked me if there was blood, discharge or pain I said no to all 3 he asked if I had pain today I said no, he said just 2 days ago when I was in there the sutures did look pretty great so no harm no foul and we all make mistakes but lets hold off until 6 weeks, so I feel much better. I apoligize ladies if anybody was thinking i was saying it was funny and making light of not following your gynos rules.

I'm glad you were able to get some reassurance from your doctor that you haven't done anything to harm yourself. You really didn't anticipate the 6 weeks by that much. (Leave it to me -- I can rationalize just about anything!) At least you know what to expect when you do get the go ahead.

That is NO FAIR!! hahahaha!! I am the sister with the raging hormones. I can't seem to get my mind off of my husband. Isn't that sad. Sometimes I feel like I am going to lose control and I have 2 more weeks. What am I going to do? The outer stuff is just not the same. Sorry if this is TMI, I just had to vent a little. I am glad you didn't hurt anything Cherrykitty. I hope I took indiscretion in the right context.

I'm very surprised that your doctor didn't tell you to watch for signs of infection. Infection is the main reason doctors say nothing in the vagina for six weeks. Even though the stitches on the cuff may be strong, those tissues are still healing and susceptible to infection from bacteria. Please read the post by BrendaAnne in this thread.
