5 great things about having a hysterectomy

Here are some great things about having a hysterectomy:
1) You can wear white any time you please!
2) Your underwear always looks great
3) There are 12 weeks that are pain/discomfort free which leaves more energy and time for shopping
4) Your clothes fit no matter what day of the month
5) You will not spend money on feminine products which means more money for chocolate!!!!

Let me finish my morning coffee, and try to think of some.

5. You don't have to lose a large volume of blood each month.
4. You don't have to wear a "diaper" for at least a week each month.
3. You don't have to ask hubby to check your backside just in case you've had an accident.
2. You don't have to plan vacations or activities around "that time of the month".

and best of all....

1. YOU CAN HAVE SEX WHENEVER YOU WANT!!!!!

1) no more birth control
2) no more cramps
3) no more blood clots coming out in public with sounds
one bad thing about a hysterectomy..
1) I can't blame my moods on PMS - LOL!

I want to add that I dont have to know where all the restrooms are in new buildings so I can do an "emergecy tampon change" at the drop of a hat

More:
1. Not having to have tampons/pads in every drawer, purse, vehicle etc. you own.
2. Not having to ask other people for tampons/pads when you've used up your own stash.
3. Not hurting all the time.
4. Now getting to blame ALL bad moods on HRT imbalance, which doesn't limit you to only 1/4 of the month. (I must have forgotten my pill today.)
5. No more evil cysts and endless surgeries to remove them.
5B--Feeling good...like really good, not just faking it.

I loved the one about scoping out where every restroom is. That's been ingrained in me for so long! How about this, too,
1) always purchasing the seat for a play, movie, restaurant, etc. that is closes to the aisle!!!

I love the one about not having to stash tampons everywheres! Even three months later I am STILL finding tampons!!! I had stashed them ALL OVER THE PLACE!

Agree with all the things said except for the fitting into clothes no matter what time of the month. I can't fit into ANY trousers or skirts now which I could fit into at all times during the month pre op. I'm not overweight, I'm a skinny little thing but my swelly belly is now causing problems and seems worse than the huge belly I had before the op.
