4 week S/P hemorrhage due to suture break

Hi, I am 4 weeks S/P TAH laparoscopic. I hemorrhaged sunday and was rushed to ER requiring emergency surgery for cauterization. It wasn't the vaginal cuff that tore as they thought happened. Somehow a suture came loose or scabbed and started to bleed. The doc said this is a rare occurrence. So now I am on complete bedrest for another week until it heals again UGH! Did anyone ever hear of this?

I popped a switch and bled a little but nowhere near requiring a visit to the ER.

It is definitely possible for this to happen. I don't know if anyone currently posting has a similar experience or not.

The important thing is to know you are not alone.
