Intimacy after surgery!

Hi Precious Sistas!

I am at the 11 week mark ... due to complications I am moving along slower than some.

Well I just wanted to share with all of you that are afraid about how making love will be after surgery that it was brilliant for us. That is from my perspective and my hubbys.

I know this was a big worry for me and I never thought I would post about it once it happened but realized how much it meant to me when others did. It gave me faith that all would be okay afterwards.

So here's hoping your experiences post op are wonderful and I keep reminding myself it is not just a physical act but a mind/body connection.

Go Tracy! Glad to hear the good report! I was just given two more weeks to wait on Monday... We were so looking forward to it. Ah well... I was given clearance for anything that did not include anything inside. Love how he left that so vague. Ha! DH is still worried about hurting me, I'm worried things are "broke". Ugh. I am sure for me it is all in my mind... It is difficult to shut down your mind, even though you know that is what is holding things up!!! We've only had one try at it though, so we'll just practice more It was nice just to be close though! I've really missed that.
