Insightful and supportive for my hysterectomy

I had LAVH/BSO 2/10/2015 and only wish that I had found sisters sooner. Back when I was told a hyster would be the best thing for me and my husband and I discussed this and said ok, I only read about hysters and little informative stuff. Then the first or second day I was at home recovering, I just started searching and hystersisters.com jumped out of the computer onto my lap for some reason. I have been what you would say "addicted" since then. Even my husband got on the mister page the other night and we had a long discussion that night. He was constantly saying did you know? I never thought. Do you realize this and that can happen? I had no idea. He was able to understand a little bit more about my concerns and questions and emotions. He understood a little more about the HRT end of things. Family support. Lending a helping hand more. I think that this website is a blessing for any woman and/or man that is/will/has undergone hysterectomy surgery for whatever reason. The outpour of replies to your posts, questions, cries for help or just to chat are amazing. Wonderfully done and full of information and links. I honestly don't know how things would go for me at this time if I had not found this webpage to answer a lot of things for me. I have found other pages to link to from here and have also liked on facebook and shared some things there as I have no close personal friends that have been through a hyster so they would not know how to show any support other than a shoulder now and again to cry on to which I have not needed thus far thank God. Thank you Hystersisters.com for all that you offer to women like me and those to come. You are a blessing and Angels on Earth to help with support and information.
