Lurker out of the shadows

I also have a large stomach. I recently lost 30 lbs. and everything shrunk majorly except my stomach. It got smaller, but not in proportion to every thing else. Now I know why. I had resigned myself to loving it the way it is. Maybe after surgery it will eventually go down.I too am 38. My husband and I have two teenaged daughters. I also had my tubes tied and the ends burned 15 years ago after the birth of my youngest child.I'm looking forward to having no more periods, pain and I definitely won't miss having only one good week in a month. My houghts are with all of you.

Well, your question of how I am doing with the wait is a good one! I can tell you that from last month, up until yesterday, I was in 24 hour pain! Today I feel really good. But really, I have to be honest with you and tell you 3/21 can't get here fast enough! The fibroids make me very tired , give me constant back pain, and even though my doc has put me back on birth control to regulate the bleeding, it is not working anymore Oh, yes I am ready! Start fitting me for my crown! I am glad to be out of pain for now... I have to be thankful, and also look foreward to the days of being pain free!
