almost 13 weeks post op and pain??

Well ladies i have some questions. I will be 13 weeks post op on monday, but over the last few weeks i have been having quite a bit of pain. I am wondering if it is "normal" surgical pain or if maybe my enodmeteriosis could be back?! Anyone else have pain this long after ur surgery?

i still have alot of pain, but i have a hematoma. is your doctor aware of how you are feeling? have you had an ultrasound done? you might want to call the doc, just to ask if this is what you should expect. i would. sorry you are still hurting. hugs, heather

Post-Op Pain

I had my surgery on Oct.31st, 2005. My doc did the bikini cut but I have noticed that my scar area hurts sometimes almost like a pinch or a small needle stick. Is this ok?? I know the numbness may never go away.

Hi there, sorry to hear you are not feeling well, but I hope it helps to know you are not alone....I too have not felt like myself since my tvh, and believe that I am cycling because I kept my ovaries....if I do any lifting, or straining I still get crampy and more uncomfortable.... I am hoping that in time all this will disappear and I will be glad for the surgery...take care..

I don't have any experience with endo but have heard it is possible for it to reoccur on the ovaries (since you had those removed, of course you wouldn't have that) but I'm not sure if it can also attack other organs. It could be adhesions but it's best to check in with your doctor.

Thanks ladies so much for all ur input! No i haven't talked to the doctor yet, but i have an appointment on the 6th. Was going to see how things go. Yes i had my ovaries removed, but i am taking a low dose of hormones as i am only 27. Yes endometeriosis can attact other organs...i had it on my blatter, bowels, and ovaries. Thanks again!
