dVH/RALH 6 days post daVinci hysterectomy: what i cant do?

So I had dvh on 6/24 my dr really didn't give me a list of things not to do..just to take it easy
Can I vacuum or mop..I have tried laundry just very slowly . I see the dr on wed 7/2 I guess I can ask her too. Any ideas my hystersisters

I could not vacuum or mop till 6 weeks. No lifting more than 10 lbs for 6 weeks. No baths or swimming for 6 weeks. I had a TAH so yours may be different. I would confirm with the doc on this.

I was told no lifting anything over 10lbs, no carrying wash baskets, vacuuming, mopping, nothing but very light housecleaning.

for me, no heavy lifting, no sex, no carrying anything when I go up and down stairs, no heavy exertion, no baths/swimming. I think thats about it. I am even allowed to do an easy workout on my elliptical. I just asked "when can I........" or "its okay to........, right?" And got pretty positive answers back :-)

Definite no on the vacuum and mopping those are very hard on your stomach area. I was told no vacuuming or mopping or heavy duty housework for 6 wks. No lifting over 10 lbs for 4 weeks and preferably less than that for the first two weeks, no driving for two weeks

Thanks everyone for all the great advice...I will definitely have list of questions for her on Wednesday ..the bloated feeling is horrible !
