I'll get started (but I'm not eligible!) but becuase my own birthday is coming up.....

This year we are going to a Movie Tavern for Retro Movie night to see "The Sound of Music"! My family knows I'm a huge fan of musicals - so this will be a fun way to enjoy dinner and a movie all at the same time!

Last year I decided to stop feeling sorry for myself. I decided to create a four day celebration for my birthday - 'Nancypalooza.' The first day is spent in gratitude for all the blessings in my life. The second day - my actual birthday - is spent taking care of myself with a manicure/pedicure/spa day/whatever that affirms life. The third day I give back to others, preferably through random acts of charity, i.e., to the homeless. The fourth day is a day of contemplation and planning to prepare myself with goals and intentions for the coming year.

Go out with my family. Then for my birthday present have them donate to cancer research .

My birthday is Aug. 9. I will be 32. This year is extra special for me. This year I will be celebrating my birthday for the first time with my Biological father. We will celebrate on Sunday. I can honestly say after 32 years this is the BEST PRESENT EVER!!! And Aug.23 is the first year Anniversary of my hysterectomy. I normally spend my birthday depressed. My Grandfather died 6 days after my 23rd birthday. So my birthdays are bittersweet. So celebrating with Daddy and family... feels like a warm hug from God.

My birthday this year was on June 29th and my surgery was on July 9th so it was a heavy load BUT a friend called me up and said she was able to get two floor tickets to Roger Waters in Hartford, CT (my home town). My husband and a friend got some tickets too and we all went to the show!!! It was a mess getting there but it didn't matter. The "in your face hysterectomy -- you will not beat me" vibe was righteous!!! Thanks Hystah-sistahhhhs Even though it's a steady, very conscious effort, you help keep that vibe going!!!

Well, this year my birthday is going to be 2 days prior to my surgery ... so I'll be a nervous wreck :-(

But, I share my birthday with my husband (he's two years older), so each year it's a fun crowd with the family and I always get my Peanuts and Snoopy ornaments for my Christmas tree then.

I am so excited about my birthday in December. For once in over 18 years, I can plan a trip without pain and issues. I believe wherever or whatever we do will be fantastic. And, I will make a special donation to my fave organizations.

my birthday is on oct. 18th i would love to be able to just have my family with me for the day but i know that wont happen as today is my oldest sisters birthday and she is in heaven and i want to be able to just spend the day with my bf and kids even if we just sit at home and watch a movie

My birthday is in 10 days. I'm turning the big 40 this year! Usually I just hang with my kids and hubby. This year I went with 4 other friends to Las Vegas. We called ourselves the Colorado Cougars! I had so much fun and it will be a B-Day I will never forget!
