I finished my Christmas cards tonight. Only a little bit of laundry left and tidying up for tomorrow. Glad I took tomorrow off from work to prepare. I need to throw some final items into my bag and I'm ready. Feeling sad and scared mostly about my incision. But I'm otherwise looking forward to making it to the other side without pain from endo and fibroids!

Thanks to everyone that contributes to this site with your helpful insight and advice. It's has helped greatly.

I wish you luck. I to am finishing up laundry and wraping xmas gifts. Its almost 1 am and I cant sleep anyway. I have to work in the morning and then go take to exams tomorrow at 1 then off to get a few more things done. I like you just look forward to being back home with this all behind me......

Thank you all for your words of encouragement. It's actually nice to have a cheering section, even when everyone is anonymous. I didn't even know I needed a hysterectomy until a little over 2 weeks ago and when I found out I started searching frantically for information. I was delighted to find this website and even more delighted and surprised to see it originates in my own fair city of Denton, Texas. I can't thank you individually but I do want to send a very BIG thank you to the women who have shared their intimate stories. I got the clinical version of what to expect from the medical professionals; it was the personal details that I really wanted and I found them here. Like the other ladies who go in on Nov 30th, I've been tidying up my house like a woman on a serious mission. The last thing I did was clean all my fish tanks last night so I think I'm ready now. Whew! I need the rest.
