Pain advice

Hi all,

I am 7 weeks post op and just finish my first week backto work. I am so exhausted but overall feeling really good except for one new thing.
This hard to explain... I have sharp pain like stabbing running down from just about scar level down to where my legs meet my torso. It's a "heart beat" like feeling and comes and goes mostly on the left side. It's really wierd, not lasting pain just intense at the moment... I keep expecting it to just be transient but it's lasted 3 days now. Has anyone experienced this?

This website has been a God send... thank all of you. As soon as my bills are paid... I want to donate to this wonderful site.

Pain advice

I remember getting that feeling off and on for a few months. I asked my doc about it and he didn't know except to say that there are alot of nerves that they work around down there and they get pressed against especially if you have a tvh.
The pain will get less as time goes by but if you want you can make your doc aware of your pain just for his info.
