OMG! I just found this link! Thank you for the warm wishes and support. I'm having DaVinci keeping ovaries and cervix. I am in Ohio. Sending prayers and blessings to all of the other princesses heading to the castle on 4/12 with me....Speedy recovery and see ya on the other side.

Hi Ginger, I truly laughed out loud reading your post...love the names! Hilarious! I guess it helps to keep a sense of humor with all of this. Yes so today is bowel prep day for me. I did Dulcolax last night and was up all night in the bathroom, severe cramping....not fun...I start the Golytely bowel prep at 5 this evening. How are things going for you? Getting my bag packed and just trying to be calm.

Kay - happy to make you laugh! You're right we have to keep our sense of humor now. So for her final slap in the face to me, Evil Queen Uterus decides that she will give me a send-off gift and decides to start my period a day early - just to really make my life special!!!! I Have NEVER STARTED EARLY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! If I would have started when I was supposed to have started I would have avoided this as it would have started later and my surgery would have been complete. This final slap oin the face is just what I needed to KNOW I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING!!!!
They told me to start my bowel prep between 1-3 today. I am taking the Magnesiom Citrate as I am allergic to the other. It makes me sneeze and itch.

My doctor told me I didn't need a bowel prep - CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???? I insisted on it - just like I insisted on having my appendectomy performed at the same time. I am a polite, insistant patient..LOL and will remain that way with the nurses as well. Have fun Kay!!!

Still laughing! Ginger my period decided to show up last night...Foolish of me to think that I would escape it before surgery! Hah! So between last night's Dulcolax runs and the "Red Sea" I'm having a grand old time a day before surgery!
