8 weeks post and hormones are crazy!!!

I had a TAH April 13 and there were complications due to ovaries and uterus being cemented on bowels. Surgery lasted extra 2 hours and had to have a specialist remove from bowels. I found out that I had advanced endometriosis and no one suspected as I had been going to fertility clinic for past 9 years and they looked at everyrthing up down and around during my treatments. I had been soooo tired before I went for surgery that I felt fantastic after I surgery and stopped pain meds the next day. I was in hospital for 6 days due to a drain and when I left I was out visiting work the very next day. I had some discomfort but for the best part felt amazing until....week 5. I take the hormone shot climactrine and was to have every six weeks. At week 5 it stopped and I only had the new shot at my 6 week check up. The problem is that was 10 days ago and I am a MESS. Up, down all the time and I am completely exahsted. I was to return to work after 6 weeks, and couldn't wait, but I just can't imagine it now. The DR said he couldn't beleive how quickly I was out and about and how fast I was healing. He expected me to be at least 8-10 weeks. Maybe the shot isn't for me. Has anyone used it for HRT????

No,never used that particular shot. Please consider asking your doc to do a hormone test where they test your hormone levels. Sounds like the shot is not longer working for you.

Personally, bio-identical hormones have worked wonders for me. Just a suggestion, but you might consider asking about these. They are all natural and are almost like your natural hormones are; they are not synthetic. They can be taken orally and by a patch.

Just my 2 cents...Good luck!
