LAVH: strange symtoms

I am not scheduled for my surgery until November 15 and I am lookingforward to the end of all the craziness. So, when I checked the calendar and realized that this would be my last period ever I began to celebrate. Only my period didn't come for several days after the normal time (nearly a week late) I am having chills and I am extremely emotional. Have any of you been feeling like this? Is this something I should report to my doctor or is it just one of those strange things that goes on for women like us?

I know stress can push off your ovulation, which would then push off your cycle. Maybe that could be it. Being emotional, I think I might be riding that same roller coaster ride with you. One minute I'm fine, the next short tempered, the next anxious and worried. I just can't seem to even keel out on the emotions, my poor family is tip toning around me.

As far as chills, well I'm in Michigan, and someone said they actually saw snowflakes yesterday. So my chills I've been contributing to Mother Nature changing seasons and my refusal to truly acknowledge summers really over.

Your emotional is very normal. I several times before my surgery and many more times after.

Stress can delay your period. And for me, stress can make me chilly.

I would say that it is fairly normal pre-op occurrences. If you are concerned, you can call your doctor. Sometimes putting your mind at ease does help.
