Walking..

Curious how long is too long to be out for a walk. I went today for about 15 minutes. Would have gone longer but wasn't sure if it was ok or not

Re: Walking..

I've been extending my distance every day, depending on how I feel. I think as long as you don't wear yourself out, it is all good.

Re: Walking..

Go as far as you can, just make sure you can get back home,. Therefore don't wear yourself completely out before turning around.

At 2 weeks, I was walking 2 blocks and going down and up 3 flights of stairs ( I live in a 4th floor walk-up)

Re: Walking..

I was told I could do as much as my body could handle. So I your body is telling you during or after your walk that you did too much, cut it back. If you feel fine, add a little more. I wouldn't push yourself too much, but walking is very good for you.
