I want to give everybody a big THANK YOU and a huge to all the sisters out there! This site has been a wonderful resource and place of support for me!

I went to my dr. today and I'm soooo thankful and very reassured now. I'm scheduled for a TVH/BSO tomorrow and I believe him now when he says I will feel like a new woman in a few short weeks. He is going to put me on HRT that has been proven to be safe and very effective AND he says in six weeks I will be able to choose a new excersize and diet plan that will help to get me back to a happily slender and healthy body! I am SOOO psyched!! I actually blushed when he told me this-it makes all the difference in the world to me! His attitude focuses on the health of the woman and the happiness of her family. Gone are the days that hysterectomy means "fat and ugly" he insists, and this will be the beginning of a new life. I'm so relieved, I just can't tell you! My husband and I are taking our girls and my parents on a cruise in December. What timing, huh?? In the meantime I'm looking forward to resting quietly at home and sleeping most of the weekend.

So I'm off to the Castle tomorrow and looking forward to it-sort of! See you on the other side (I've been dying to say that)....!
