I am afraid I am over doing it ~ any advice?

Happy Thanksgiving Ladies
I had LAVH-BSO on 11/10. Feeling so good I am afraid I am over doing it. I am back to work 8 hrs a day and have been to the gym twice, only walked on the treadmill but it was 1.5 -2 miles. I am going in the am and was thinking about trying to do a little more than walk but am afraid I could do damage and not know it. Any advice as to how active a princess can be at almost 3 weeks and be ok?

My surgery was on the 9th. My body tells me when I'm over-doing it. I have increased pain after too much activity. My wooziness/weakness is quickly improved, but that was previously limiting me.
I went back to work just before the 2week check but had several episodes of severe pain by the afternoon. I'm amazed that you can walk that far and do so much! I wouldn't do much more than walk for a few more weeks. IMO, Your body needs reserves to heal internally. Maybe some gentle stretching, deep breathing.

I agree with Kathy: even though you feel good and your body is the best guide, it is also good to let your body heal internally. My doc was adamant about not doing going to the gym for the first 6 weeks! Walking is okay, but I wasn't allowed to do more than that.

Be gentle to your body, it will be grateful to you!
