6 weeks with back pain and cramping

I had my TVH on April 30th. My surgery went well but running a low grade temp that day. So they sent me home with antibotics.I noticed the cramping was more severe on left abdominal area. At about three weeks postop my lower back started aching really bad along with the cramping on left side.Felt really bad! Went to E.R. The doc there ran catscan and said they found diverticulosis. An infection in colon. So they sent me home with antibiotics. I followed up with Gyno at 4 weeks.I told her what had happen and she said I needed to see an gastro doc and said incisions looked fine to resume all activity at 6 weeks.I ended up going back to ER 3 days ago. They ran a CT and say no diverticulitis.I saw PCP and they say I need to see Gyno.I am so frustrated now and not sure who to see or what to do.My back aches all the time. The cramping is on lower left side of abdomen. It is tender to touch it and running low grade fever still.I am so worn out.Feel at loss.I have apt. set fot tomorrow with gastro doc.Should I see gyno too? I don't know if pain is normal and I'm just being a baby or what! Please if anyone has any advice I need it! Sorry so long.

Re: 6 weeks with back pain and cramping

Please call your surgeon back and tell them you are running a low grade fever and you have developed new pain.
