TAH/BSO ~ scared

Hi, my pre-op is Dec. 8th with a TAH/BSO on the 21st of Dec. My mohter was DX in April , 2009 stage 4 Ovarian Cancer. I was DX with Breast Cancer 2006. My Oncologist recommended that I have this procedure done. So I am ready to do it. Scared as hell, but I rather do it now than when I am in my 50's. I want my life back with out the worry of cancer all the time.

Bless your heart!! I don't blame you I would want to go ahead and have it done and over with also. I am having a Tah/Bso on the 10th of Dec and have been really emotional this past weekend. My Pre op is this Tuesday Dec. 1st and I am so ready to get it over with.
I am praying for each and every one that is having this done in the next coming days weeks and months. I am so glad that God brought me to this site it has really been so very helpful in answering question and letting me know what to expect.

Bless you. I was so, so scared before my recent TAH/BSO and it took up all of my thoughts for weeks beforehand. Everything will be ok and it will be such a relief for you to not have that worry hanging over you.
