I had the same pain but had a TAH on the 12th of December. I haven't noticed that much pain in my back lately. Taking my meds helped ease the pain.

Are you both thin? If so, it is the position you are in during surgery. Happened to me with a 6 hour DaVinci.

No I'm not thin - I can't take pain meds. It hurts to sit, stand or lay down. Can't soak in tub for a few more weeks. Calling the doctor today.

I had a TVH on the 16th and last night my tail bone and hip bones started to hurt, almost like a burning sensation and itchy.

I wouldn't consider myself thin. Beajaym62 - you said you cant use pain meds...can you use a heating pad?

Been using a heating bag and walking on tread mill (1 mile a day). Sometime walking seems to help. I had a Vaginal Hysterectomy, no cutting. My doctor thinks its a pressure pain from the table told me to give it another week and then have it looked at if nothing changes.
