6wk post-op, learning my limits!

Hello, i'm monica and i am 33 yrs old. i am 6 wks post-op and starting to feel great again. it is so hard not to over do things at this time. I know i am still healing on the inside so it makes it harder to keep from over doing it. I have 2 children that are alot of healp around the house so i am thankful for that. I go to the dr on monday the 20th for my 6 wk exam and talk to my dr. they will then do blood work to see if the right ovary that they left in is working or not(i presonally do not think it is working properly) it was about 60 degrees in the house the other night and i was sweating up a storm. I'm currently wondering what they were thinking when they left that ovary in there since it contained a chocolate cyst, i wish they would of just removed it. My hyst wasn't even planned in the first place so i am really trying to get used to that face as well. it is hard that i went in for a scope and the next thing i know when i wake up is we had to do a ful hyst, you had stage 4 endometerios. it really has been hard on me with my friends having babies and such. it is hard knowing that i can't have another.

I'm only two years younger and also have to 2 kids. I felt such a loss when I found out I would need a hyst. It is very diffrent to take steps to prevent pregnancy because it's a choice you make. When they took that away I felt sad. Some people just don't get that. I still feel sad every now and then but lemons lemonaide and I'm looking forward to no more birth control, no more pads, no more paps! I'm not going to dwell on what I can't change. Jusy know that what your feeling is normal and you can always vent here we understand and are here for you.
