Pressure

So much pressure in my vagina, belly and butt!!! Wth? Surgery was the 29. Cervix and uterus removed. Recovery is going well other then all the pressure.

Glad to hear it's going well for you. I mostly felt the pressure in my belly. I had it for quite a while but felt it most the first 2 weeks. It eased up for me each week a little. I am in week 6 now and can say it's mostly gone. I feel it more at the end of the day along with swelly belly since I returned to work full time last week. I had a TAH, kept my ovaries only. Not sure if it's different for others who had different procedures. I'd be curious to know. This site is wonderful and helped me so much to know if what I was experiencing was normal or not. Not sure if you know, but there is a post op thread for your week of surgery that is super helpful as everyone is in the same healing stage as you. Wishing you good healing.

It could be that you still have some gas built up in there. I have so much pressure I feel like you could pop me with a needle! Be sure you're keeping your bladder empty that also has a very strong pressure sensation when the bladder gets too full.
