I'm 4 1/2weeks post op, I called my doctor to make sure it was ok for me to go to a wedding 2 1/2 hours away. She told me absolutely not. After anesthesia you have a risk to throw a blood clot even this far out. Only short trips.

Me too. I wouldn't go on a 2 hour drive, but I did just let my husband drive me to get some frozen yogurt. I used my pillow and it was okay.

thanks! it felt good to get out of the house last night, and i know i'll want to get out for a bit again this afternoon - it's such a beautiful day!
