Hysterectomy 28th April

Hi everyone,

As you can guess I'm a newbie! I found this forum while surfing the net..wow its amazing, everyone is so informative and helpful.

I am due for surgery TVH on 28th April 2010, well at least my gyn is hoping it will be vaginal!

I have really bad pain, crazy periods, well I just bleed all the time!! and 2 large fibroids. All this is compounded by being on Warfarin! not fun..

anyway hi to everyone, I will be looking around and hopefully getting to know some of you..

have I mentioned how scared I am?

I have put this off for as long as I can but now it needs to be done..I am over it!

I can feel ya sista too. I really believe the wait is the worst part. I want this all to be over with a soon as possible. I have found lots of good information, tips and such on this site. You'll find there is an abundance of support here. If you need to vent or cry, just hollar.

It's nice to meet you! April 28th sounds like a good day to have a TVH. I had my TVH on April 28, 2004.

While you're preparing, I encourage you to do some reading in Checkpoints. You'll find a wealth of great information! Be sure to post any questions and concerns and we'll be here for you!

Welcome!!
I had my TVH/bladder sling/TVTO/A&P repairs last week. This site is GREAT!! Check out all the articles and forums for lots of info and support! Please remember alot of the posts can scare you and are not the norm!! They are great for providing support to alot of ladies who have issues but can be scary to pre-op girls! All I can say is WAITING IS THE WORST!!
