Six weeks wow
This has been my go to site from the moment I found out I was having a hysterectomy. Reading the information and experiences of other hystersisters made my recovery fly. I had a tah with bso on January 8. I have bikini cut incision that was closed with surgical glue. No stitches and healing quickly. Lost a lot of blood but iron pills brought me back. Other than my very first migraine in the hospital, my surgery was uneventful. Pain felt like very bad cramps which I was living with for about 40 years. I am 53 years and hadn't started menopause. I was fearful about surgical menopause but I haven't had any issues yet although I wake up everyday waiting to see. Since I was 40 I have led a very healthy lifestyle, eating well less carbs, lots of vitamins and supplements and I credit that to feeling really good and bouncing back within a couple of weeks. Back to work next week.
