Tummy tuck
I am scheduled for a TAH/BSO on July 11. I also am having a bladder suspension as well. The gyn/bladder specialist mentioned almost as an aside that he could do a tummy tuck for me as well, which sounded good to me at the time. Now that I'm getting closer to my surgery date, I'm wondering what other sisters' experiences have been with tummy tucks. Are you happy with them? Is there anything special I should ask my dr about when I go in for my pre-op appointment next Monday?
Thanks in advance for your advice!

Tummy tuck
I joked with my GYN that I wanted him to close me tighter than was and he said NO! but that I could have a Plastic Surgeon come in and work side by side. If I talked to one, then I should have him contact the GYN's office and they would coordinate their schedules. I did, they did, and now I have a beautifully flat tummy. The GYN was not qualified to do the TT and the PS gave me a full TT. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I'll be glad to help.

Tummy tuck
I tried to schedule a tummy tuck at the same time as my TAH - but the hospital would charge for each procedure. Of course, the TT is not covered by insurance so I would have to pay full price, no multi-procedure discount.
Check with your hospital to make sure you don't have the same problem.
