Piglett100 - That'll be YOU, come Monday!

I truly understand the information overload (and the fear). I had been here early on - up through my 2nd opinion. I received awesome help from my sisters, but then I became overwhelmed with what I was reading and left - until 3 weeks postop - gone for 2 months and not even lurking!

Then, early in my recovery of course I thought I was the only one in the world experiencing what I was experiencing, so I would come on and ask - and some wonderful sister would come on and respond and let me know it was all pretty normal (yawwwwwn) LOL!

It's interesting to put a little perspective on things and go to the lavender bar above - click on Calendar - go back a few months and start to take a look at the sheer numbers. Then you can get some idea of how many sisters must not be having problems at all.

And the fact that I am here doesn't mean that I have problems. It only means that this is an awesome community of sisters who have helped me immensely, and I'd like to pass that along when I get the chance.

It's soooOOO much better on the other side! See you there soon! Best to you and all the Monday

first thing, stop reading the post-op board. Everyone is different. I had myself so scared, that I almost called off surgery. Now, I am 11 days post-op and I feel good. I had no trouble. Well, I was suppose to have a TVH, dr tried for an hour, but the uterus gave a fight, so had to have a TAH, did well at the castle, I remembered someone telling me to walk, and drink lots of water, and that was good advice.I have started bleeding, but that is expected now, because of the stsitches. My hair is right where it belongs, teeth are greta, no hot flashes, ans feeling good. So, please,, stay away from post-op board, I had too, and I felt better
your surgery is what you make it, stay possitve, and walk, and drink... good luck

Hi Hokey,

I absolutely agree with you... I am scheduled for March 22nd and feel the same way about reading all of these posts. Just keep reminding yourself, as do I, that women who have little or no problems often do not post. Also remind yourself that there is no such thing as too much information. I hope that all of this information will serve me well if/when I experience any of these issues. Focus on how good we will feel on the back end... that is what I am doing! Good luck... we can get through this together!

POSITIVE THOUGHTS!
