Hysterectomy for adeno but now seeing uro gyn

My gyn wamted me to see uro gyn who will assist her woth da vinci surgery.
He said i have hernias On mu uterus.
Now i knew i had vericose veins but whats a hernia!
Hes running tests next week and he says he will have to out my left over attached to the wall because im keeping that overy ans he doesnt want it to prolapse.

Has anyone had hytersectomy where dr wanted to be pro active with future prolapsibg and sent u to a uro gyn?

Your doctor is getting help from another doctor for your surgery. They do that when they need someone who is skilled in something they are not. It is a good thing for your doctor to do this and it is for your health. So he wants you to see the uro gyn so this doctor is familiar with your case before surgery.

A hernia is when a you have an organ pushing through muscle or abdominal wall.

I saw four different OB/GYN's before I was finally diagnosed correctly by a fifth doctor, a urogyn, who was the one who performed my surgery.
