Adenomyosis pain severe and my hysterectomy just got rescheduled again!!!!

Hi sisters! I need some words of support or wisdom right now! I am a 28 year old mother of 3 and have been diagnosed with severe adenomyosis. I have done all options my doctor recommended, from the iud to anti depressants for pain ( which I was not happy about). I am finally at the point that my GYN has agreed to do a hysterectomy. Now I have to say my mother also suffered from adenomyosis for 15 years and just recently got her hysterectomy. My frustration right now, that to the point I just want to cry all day, is that my doctor has yet again rescheduled my hysterectomy for another three weeks! I am in severe pain this week and thought to myself I will handle this because my hysterectomy was supposed to be done this coming Friday the 10th. I have already waited over 2 months for this surgery. My doctor now just called and said it is now scheduled for the 31st!!!! So I will now have to wait another 3 weeks plus miss out on Halloween with my babies I need help with any advice on how I can maybe get my doctor to agree to a sooner date??? Or any recommendations you wonderful ladies have? I'm sorry if this post is all over the place but I am really at my end with this pain!!! Thank you in advance!!❤️

I am so sorry you are going through this! I just had my hysterectomy for adenomyosis on Friday. I don't know how you could get them to do it sooner, maybe call the office everyday until they are tired of hearing from you! Why do they keep rescheduling?

I'm not 100% sure why 😔 it's every time " the doctor can't do it on that day so now it is this day" I'm definitely going to be calling them everyday in tears because I feel that is all I'm doing now a days especially now that I have started menstruating again. That's when it is the worst and I bleed for 2 weeks or more! I'm glad to hear that you have had yours! My mom had hers 4 months ago and said it was amazing how much better she felt after it! I hope your recovery goes smoothly!! And thank you for your response!!

That would have drove me crazy,I almost did anyways I do feel alot better already, hurting from the surgery but I feel better than I have in years! Thank you smooth sailing so far, had my staples removed today! Hope that they can get you in sooner and everything goes great
